Mirrormont Country Club: Serving Us Since 1976

There’s Plenty to Do at the MCC

Community gatherings, pool time, playground, tennis…that is just a taste of what happens when someone joins the Mirrormont Country Club (MCC). The MCC opened in 1969, was incorporated as a non-profit in 1976, and has been a staple of the community ever since.

When the MCC was first established, there were many activities that were hosted, like progressive dinners, tennis tournaments, rummage sales and sock hops. It was a vital component in creating a tight-knit community. As time has passed and life gets busier for the average person, the MCC wants to bring back the sense of inclusion, involvement and community.

Last Summer, the MCC had pool party nights hosted by members. The Kick-Off party had a DJ, watermelon races, and cannon ball contest. There was also Glow Night, a 4th of July Party and the ever-popular, 80s theme night. Movies were always showing inside the clubhouse on the projector screen, which was the place to be for the kids during adult swim! Swim lessons and water aerobics are also available to members. This has been a catalyst for new neighbors to meet each other and forge lasting relationships!

The club prides itself on being a volunteer-managed club. All members of the MCC have an opportunity to use volunteer hours to clean up the pool area, maintain the clubhouse, plant flowers and keep the tennis court in tip-top shape. This creates a community that cares about their surroundings and is a great way to meet your amazing neighbors.

When the pool closes for the summer, what else is there to do, you may ask. The use of the Clubhouse is very popular! With a large gathering room, full kitchen and supplies, and a projector screen, any event can be hosted in the Clubhouse from baby showers to birthdays to large sit-down dinners. In fact, an MCC member hosted a fabulous Holiday Gift & Craft Show that was very popular amongst the neighborhood!
