Spread some holiday cheer for low-income elders and disabled neighbors
The Mirrormont Community Association is excited to invite you to participate in the Second Annual Shoeboxes of Joy program this 2017 holiday season!
Sponsored by Catholic Community Services of Western Washington (CCSWW), every holiday season, Volunteer Services delivers shoebox gift packages to elderly and disabled members of our community (not only Catholics) who may be isolated from family and friends during the holiday season.
A Shoebox of Joy is often the only gift received by many of their clients during the holiday season. Having a volunteer come to their door to make that special delivery means the world to them.
How can you help?
By giving a few hours of your time to create Shoeboxes of Joy filled with treats, you give a gift of caring and holiday cheer.
Save shoeboxes with lids (attached or separate) and drop them off in the bin at the Mirrormont Country Club porch, along with your donations.
Then join us for a festive Shoebox Stuffing and Wrapping party at the Mirrormont Country Club on Saturday, November 18th from noon to 3:00.

The bin will be emptied twice daily. This is a great opportunity for Middle and High School youth to get their community service hours!
